Quilling is the art of rolling and shaping thin stripes of paper and arranging them to form designs. This is a very old art form believed to have been used by ancient Egyptians. There are pieces from French and Italian nuns dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. Quilling has been known by different names such as: Paper-rolling, Paper Twirling, Paper Scrolling and Paper Filigree. |
| What is Quilling? |
| This website is to showcase my designs using this art form. I love the way all the little pieces come together to make a design or picture. A lot of time and patience go into each and everyone of my designs. The pricing of this pieces can never really reflect the time that goes into them. Take a look around. I have framed pictures, cards, ornaments, jewelry and embellished items. I hope you enjoy my little site, and if you see something you would like to buy, please go to one of my stores on Etsy, links are at the top of this page or e-mail me. Thanks, Joan |
